This is the first message in a 9-week series on the signs in the Gospel of John that were written so that we might "Believe".
The ultimate aim of our "togetherness" in Christ is to build up the body of Christ. Everything we do "together" is for that purpose, so that ultimately the church functions properly and the Kingdom of God and the Message of his Gospel is advanced.
Last week we saw how love was critical to building the relationships necessary for the church to accomplish the mission of the church. This week, we see how humbling ourselves before one another is just as important - so that we are all working towards the same goals.
Well, maybe off to a rough start, but still a great message on how our love for one another is the foundation of our church relationships.
This message looks at ways we can deepen our prayer life by asking 3 simple, but important questions. How do we pray? For whom do we pray? and When do we pray?
The second in our 3 messages on prayer answers some basic questions about prayer to help us better understand our prayer life.
With the new year, let us put a renewed emphasis on prayer, beginning with the importance of prayer. When it comes the prayer, the Bible has given us much to consider... and to use to strengthen our commitment and devotion to prayer.
